Re-activating FaceTime

Signing out of FaceTime and logging in again can also help you fix FaceTime problems that are probably caused due to account authentication. To do this:

  • Open Settings → FaceTime.
  • Turn off the switch
  • Re-enable/turn on the switch after a few minutes. You should see the ‘waiting for activation…’ sign

  • Now, re-login by tapping on Use your Apple ID for FaceTime.
